You are looking a set of etched long hood handrail stanchions. These stanchions are designed for the Proto NW2, Kato NW-2 and SW7. It will also fit the Walthers SW1. The Proto engines are notorious for having their handrails expand and warp. The result ends up looking like a strand of limp spaghetti running down the long hood. The stanchions are designed to take .015" wire. The parts are HO Scale. The material is stainless steel and is ridiculously sturdy compared to thin etched brass. You will not bend this part out of shape by accident.
